White Sash
I5 Stance Boxing (Wu Bu Quan) is required for White Sash, composed of 8 movements and works on the 5 main stances:
Bow Stance (Gong Bu)
Horse Stance (Ma Bu)
Empty Stance (Xie Bu)
Drop Stance (Pu Bu)
Empty Stance (Xu Bu)
Yellow Sash
Fundamental Long Fist (1) or 16 Movement Long Fist, is the form required for Yellow Sash. Things to look for:
Jump-Switch Step Horse Stance Press Elbow: Make sure that the arms cross before jumping, circle around in the air, landing in a clear horse stance with the forearm almost horizontal.
Orange Sash
Fundamental Long Fist (2) or 20 Movement Long Fist, is the form required for Orange Sash. Things to look for:
Stomp, Raise Knee and Press Palm: Like the previously mentioned movement, cross the hands before circling around to draw a vertical circle, stomping down with the right foot, raising the knee and pressing down with the palm at the same time.
Green Sash
Elementary Long Fist or 32 Movement Long Fist, is the form required for Green Sash. The first competition routine (Group C), composed of 4 sections and a variety of hand techniques, kicking techniques, and footwork.
