Taekwon-Do

Our Taekwon-Do programs follows the standards set by the International Taekwon-Do Federation, originally developed for the South Korean army by General Choi Hong-Hi in the mid-1940s, nicknamed the “Korean art of self-defense.” It focuses on empty-hand combat and it has an heavy emphasis on kicking techniques. Our Taekwon-Do program is split into two separate classes:

  • Kids Taekwon-Do is meant for kids ages 5 through 12 years old, it helps with confidence, strength and balance.

  • Teens and Adults Taekwon-Do is for anyone over the age of 13, training is more intense and focuses more on the application of movements and sparring.
